FREELANCE WRITER
Hi! I recently graduated from UC Davis with a degree in environmental economics and professional writing, and I’m currently working as a freelance writer, including regular contributions to Daily Meal and The Winters Express. I’ve been working as a reporter for more than five years, most recently as the editor-in-chief at The California Aggie. I also interned as a reporter for The Sacramento Bee in the summer of 2023.
While most of my experience is in written journalism, I love exploring other creative ways to tell a story or communicate information, such as through video, podcast, radio, stop-motion video, design, and so on — you can see examples of some of these projects here on my website.

agricola: a kdvs radio show
Currently serving as Editor-in-Chief, overseeing a staff of 100+ students for weekly production of a 12-page paper. Previously was campus news editor, staff writer on the Science and Technology desk and copy editor for The Aggie.
Interned as a metro reporter, covering everything from breaking news to the State Fair. Also worked on several solutions journalism articles, specifically climate solutions i.e. bikeability in urban areas.
