Hi! I’m a UC Davis alumni and freelance writer in the Sacramento area, with a variety of regular contributions including food and cooking tips for Chowhound, city council and community event coverage for The Winters Express, and arts and culture features for The Davis Dirt. My work has also been published in Oh Reader magazine, The Sacramento Bee, and UC Davis’ Prized Writing.

Current role — regular work for Chowhound, The Winters Express and The Davis Dirt as well as occasional contributions to other publications.
Served as Editor-in-Chief, overseeing a staff of 100+ students for weekly production of a 12-page paper. Previously was campus news editor, staff writer on the Science and Technology desk and copy editor for The Aggie.
Interned as a metro reporter, covering everything from breaking news to the State Fair. Also worked on several solutions journalism articles, specifically climate solutions i.e. bikeability in urban areas.
